Bernard J. Metz, 66, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, in RNC of
Greater Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 12, 1947, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Carl
W. and Elizabeth M. (Pavel) Metz. Bernard was retired from Campbell Tire Service in
Latrobe and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife, Janet M. (Musho) Metz,
of Latrobe; a son, Mark Metz, of Latrobe; a brother, Edward C. Metz and wife, JoAnn,
of Latrobe; and a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received
from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601
Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the
funeral home with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, O.S.B., officiating. Interment
