Milo, 83, of Latrobe died Sunday, Jan 14, 2001, in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 21, 1917, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Buncie) Sherback. A member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, and its Rosary Altar Christian Mothers, she also sang in the church funeral choir. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Milo, Dec. 3, 1972; a son, Cpl. Joseph Milo; five brothers, George, Michael, infant John, Joseph and William Sherback, and four sisters, Anna Noel, Julie Petrosky, Margaret Carota and infant Cecilia. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann Zelenske (and her husband, Edward) of Erie, Eleanor Diehl (and her husband, Ronald) of Greensburg and Carol Guzik (and her husband, Eric) of Latrobe; two sisters, Helen Howell and Veronica Sarnese, both of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Edward Zelenske (and his wife, Laura), Diane Rose (and her husband, Russ), Ron Diehl (and his wife Julie), Lisa Keating (and her husband, Christopher), Anthony Guzik and Teresa Watson (and her husband, James); three great-grandchildren, Todd, Chrystal and Ross, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday in John J Lopatich Funeral Home Inc, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, by the Rev. Thomas Lukac. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township. St. John Rosary Altar Christian Mothers will recite the rosary 7:30 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
