Moffa, 64, of Loyalhanna, died Wednesday in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in New Alexandria July 25, 1915, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gesippi and Mary Japalucci Moffa. A member of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, he was a retired employee of Kennametal Inc. and an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his widow, Margaret Malarik Moffa; two sons and two daughters, James B. Jr. of Greensburg, Ronald A. of Latrobe, Mrs. Bruce (Elaine) Immel of Lakewood, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. William (Judith A.) Shaffer of Whitney; one brother and four sisters, Charles of Hannastown, Mrs. Lena Dickerson and Mrs. Rose Swartz, both of Maryland, Mrs. Charles (Cora) Zito of Middletown and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Page of Jeannette, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. The family will receive friends in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rosary Altar Christian Mothers, Holy Name Society and the ushers of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home to recite the rosary.
