Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Jun 19, 1981
Rhoda L. Mumau, 74, of Route 30, Latrobe, died June 17, 1981, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. She was born June 3, 1907, in Unity township, a daughter of the late
Tustin Todd and Morna M. Mumau. She was a graduate of Indiana University of
Pennsylvania and was a school teacher, retiring in 1973 after 45 years of
service in Unity Township. She was a member of the First Baptist Church,
Greensburg. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Surviving are one brother,
L. D. "Farmer" Mumau of Latrobe; three sisters, Mrs. William (Maria) Carey of
Latrobe RD 1, Mrs. Glenn (Morna) Huffman of Whitney and Mrs. Kathryn McElhoe of
Erie, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9
p.m. Thursday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home,
Pleasant Unity. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist
Church, Brinkerton Road, Greensburg, with the Rev. Frank E. Girdwood
officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
