Mrs. Anna Marie Murphy, 77, of Laurel Highlands Nursing Center, Donegal,
(formerly of Derry) died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1987, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born
Aug. 29, 1910, in Baggaley, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna
Chocota Peipock. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry.
She was predeceased by her husband, Foster A. Murphy, Nov. 21, 1959; one sister,
Helen, and two brothers, Steven and Joseph Peipock. Surviving are one daughter,
Mrs. Donald (Helen) Lewis of Blairsville RD 3; one granddaughter, Sharon Louise
Lewis Fulmer of Blairsville RD; one brother, Andrew Peipock of Baggaley, and
four sisters, Mrs. George (Betty) Brosnick of Baggaley, Mrs. Mary Rozinsky of
Wyano, Mrs. Sophie Arnold of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Sue Pavalovak of Whitney.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday in Michael J. Ouinlisk Funeral Home, Derry. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Dennis
Sheehy as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Parish rosary
will be recited Thursday evening in the funeral home.
