Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Nov 12, 1958
Mrs. Viola Violet Nace, 46, 210 Ave. A., died very suddenly yesterday morning at
6 o'clock. Born in Latrobe, March 17, 1912, she was a daughter of the late
George and Myrtle Gordon Matters. She was a member of the Latrobe Evangelical
United Brethren Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, Annie Rebekah Lodge
134, Latrobe, and the Firemen's Auxiliary of Fifth Ward. Surviving are her
husband, John E.; one son, John E., Jr.; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs.
Lawrence Moore and George L. Matters, both of Latrobe, Mrs. John Gauger,
Universal: Mrs Paul Blickenderfer. Oakmont R. D. 1, and George L. Matters,
Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Joseph R. Hunter Funeral Home daily
from 10 a. m. to 10 p. m until Friday at 2:30 p. m. when funeral services will
be conducted there by her pastor, the Rev. Paul J. Halstead. Interment will
follow in Unity Cemetery.
