E. Naugle, of Market street, died Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock, February 27, 1901, of pneumonia and heart trouble after a brief illness, aged 14 years 4 months. He leaves two older brothers and parents to mourn his early death. Funeral took place Friday, March 1, at 2 o'clock p. m. Services at the residence conducted by Rev. N. G. Miller, pastor of the M. E. church. Interment in the Valley cemetery. Ralph was a member of school room No. 5, C. H. Bitner, teacher, and was an industrious attentive student. Schools No. 5 and 6 adjourned to attend the funeral. A large and beautiful collection of flowers were placed upon and near the casket by the teachers and pupils of school No. 5, by the L. V. R. R, Co. employees and by the Mission Band of the M. E. church of which he was a member. We unite with the many friends of the family in extending our sympathy in their bereavement.
