Mrs. Vinnie M. Needs, 80, of Alhambra, Calif., died there Sept. 10. Born in
Latrobe, daughter of late Joseph V. and Elizabeth Martha Coleman Saxman.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles H. Needs Sr., Nov. 10, 1959. Member Chico,
Calif. Chapter of Daughters of American Colonists; Daughter of American
Revolution of Greensburg; United Presbyterian Church of Uniontown; Order of
Eastern Star. Moved to California in 1948. Survived by children, Charles Homer
Needs Jr., of Alhambra; Mrs. W. K. (Josephine) Hendrix of Chico, Calif.; Mrs.
Rebecca Askren of Essex, Conn.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Mrs. Esther Van Voy of Pittsburgh; Miss Mabel Saxman of Detroit; Mrs.
Ola Lytle of St. Petersburg, Fla. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 10
p.m., Richard W. Dell Home For Funerals. Services in the funeral home chapel, 2
p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. W. A. Shannon. Interment Unity Cemetery.
