Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 5 Mar 1923
A lifelong resident of this community was claimed by death yesterday morning at 6:30
o'clock, when Mrs. Caroline Newcomer breathed her last at her home at 527 Brinker
Ave. Mrs. Newcomer had been seriously ill for quite a long time and her death was
not unexpected. She was aged 72 years, 2 months and 29 days. Surviving are the
following children: William E., of Latrobe; Walter S., of Boston; H. Bert, of
Latrobe; and Miss Esther Newcomer at home. One grandchild; one brother, Col. John
Dodds, of Youngstown; and one sister, Mrs. I. J. Harrison, of Turtle Creek, also
survive. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, in
charge of the Rev. Baker. Interment will be made in Unity cemetery.
