Latrobe Bulletin Tue, May 17, 1955
Mrs. Ruth Peterson Nicely, 741 Chestnut St., died 3:15 p.m. Monday at the
Latrobe Hospital. The deceased, the daughter of the late Andrew Peterson and
Emma Welin Peterson, was born 1893 at Ligonier. Mrs. Nicely taught in several
Ligonier District Schools and was secretary for the American Red Cross in
Latrobe. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Her husband, George
M., preceded her in death in 1938. Surviving are 3 brothers: Carl J. Peterson,
Monessen; Peter J. Peterson, Latrobe; Andrew Peterson, Ligonier; a sister, Mrs.
Gertrude Ambrose, Ligonier R. D. 2. Friends will be received at the M. S.
Hartman Funeral Home. Services will be announced later.
