Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) - 16 May 1955 
Mrs. Bertha M. Noel, 79, former resident of Latrobe, who had 
been living recently in Baltimore, Md., died in the 
Westmoreland Hospital Greensburg, at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, 14 
May 1955, following a lengthy illness. Born in the vicinity 
of Crabtree in Unity Twp. Aug. 28, 1875, she was the 
daughter of the late John and Margaret Bridge Kistner. For 
the last five years, she made her home with her daughter, 
Mrs. Anna Terry, Baltimore, Md. She was a member of the 
Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association and a former member 
of Holy Family Church. Her husband, Frank Noel, preceded her 
in death 26 years ago. Survivors include three sons and six 
daughters: Thomas and Jacob Noel, Latrobe; Louis, Jeanette; 
Mrs. Oscar (Mary Jane) Olsen, Greensburg, Miss Adeline Noel, 
Pittsburgh; Mrs. Everett (Margaret) Ardis; Mrs. Anna Terry, 
Mrs. Kenneth (Kathryn) Wickham, Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. 
Joseph (Florence) Greaves, Ardens, Ohio. Twenty 
grandchildren and two sisters, Miss Ann Kistner and Mrs. 
Clara Kirsh, Latrobe, also survive. Friends may call at the 
R. W. Dell Home for Funerals 10 am to 10 pm daily until 8 am 
Wednesday. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 9 am in 
the Holy Family Church, followed by interment in St. Vincent 
Cemetery.
