Mrs. Dorothy H. Noel, 75, of Latrobe RD 3 died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at her
home. She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in South Greensburg, the daughter of the late
William G. and Caroline (Shelter) Hayes. She was a retired employee of Vulcan
Mold and Iron Co. of Latrobe. She was a member of Third United Church of Christ,
South Greensburg, and was a deacon and member of the Ladies' Fellowship of the
church. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Old Crabtree
Sportsman's Association.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard L. Noel Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law,
Bernard L. and Patricia Noel of Latrobe RD 3; two brothers, Lloyd E. Hayes and
William G. Hayes Jr., both of South Greensburg; four grandchildren, Bernard L.
III, William J. and Robert E. Noel and Tracey Zundel, and a great-granddaughter,
Samantha Zundel. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will
follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Family requests memorial
contributions to Third United Church of Christ, 1522 Elm St., South Greensburg,
PA 15601. Terence L. Graft is in charge of the arrangements.
