The Ligonier Echo Wed Feb 10, 1926
Jacob S. Noel, aged 92 years and 6 days, a former resident of Latrobe, died at
the home of his son, George Noel, in Crabtree on Saturday, February 6, 1926. He
was a barn builder by trade and had spent most of his life in the vicinity of
Latrobe. He is survived by his widow and the following children: George, Joseph,
Charles, Leo and Mrs. J. J. Stevenson, all of Unity township; John, of Ligonier;
Frank and Raymond, of Latrobe, and Mrs. Charles McCarthy of Greensburg. He is
also survived by 37 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Funeral services
were held yesterday morning. Interment in St. Vincent cemetery.
