Edward Jerome Noel Sr., 78, of Latrobe R. D. 2, died 2:05 a.m. today. Born Oct.
29, 1885, in Unity Township (Old Crabtree). Son of late George S. and Elizabeth
Noel. Blacksmith and wheel-wright until 1944 when he was employed by the Latrobe
Die Casting until his retirement. Survived by widow, Agnes Miller Noel;
children, George S. of Oakdale; Mrs. Sylvester (Isabel) Gower, Edward J. Jr.,
Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Berenbrok Jr., Raymond C., Charles R., Hilary A., all of
Latrobe R.D. 2; Mrs. Rita Jenkins of Greensburg; Mrs. John (Elizabeth) I McCune
of Ligonier; Mrs. John (Anna Mae) Fawcett of Elizabeth; 20 grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at his late home. Funeral mass
9:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church of Crabtree. Interment
Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree. Felton Funeral Home, New Alexandria, in charge.
