Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Jun 30, 1959
Mrs. M. Ophelia Noel, 77, 1934 Hillview Ave., died in the Latrobe Hospital at
12:30 a. m. Tuesday (June 30, 1959), following a brief illness. She was born in
the Ligonier Valley, Sept. 17, 1881, but had lived the past 48 years of her life
in the Latrobe area. Her husband. Samuel Alton Noel preceded her in death Sept.
24, 1958. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Latrobe. Surviving
are the following children: Mrs. Fred (Irene) Beuten, Clyde L., Glenn A., all of
Latrobe; Mrs. Simeon (Alice) Beck, Mrs. Glenn (Mabel) Rusher, both of Derry;
Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Cerutti, Connellsville; 14 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. L. May Jones, Latrobe; Mrs. Ardell (Nellie)
Graver, Carlisle; one brother, Harvey Mitchell, Ligonier R. D. (Oak Grove).
Friends may call at the R. W. Dell Home for Funerals from 10 a. m. until 10 p.
m. daily. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. rn.
Services will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p. m. Thursday
by the Rev. John L. Reiner, her pastor. Interment will be made in the St. James
Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
