The Ligonier Echo Wed Oct 20, 1971
Frank R. Noel, 84, of 328 Washington Street, Ligonier died in the McGinnis
Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 14, 1971. Mr. Noel was born on Dec. 17, 1886 in
Ligonier Township. a son of the late Joseph B. and Emma Melville Noel. He was a
retired bookkeeper and paymaster for the Baton Coal and Coke Co. and has
recently been employed at the Ligonier News Stand. He was a member of the
Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ligonier. He is survived by his widow, Marie
(Clifford) Noel, one son, J. Ronald Noel of Ligonier and three grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Owen Wolford Funeral Home on
Saturday, the Rev. D. Alan Martens in charge. Private interment was in the
Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
