O'Shea, 88, of Latrobe RD 2 (formerly of Greensburg) died Monday, Feb. 7, 1983, in Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. Born May 1, 1894, in Bedford County, he was a son of the late Daniel and Florence Katting O'Shea. A retired employee of Walworth Valve Co., he was a World War I veteran, having served overseas as a corporal in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Bedford VFW post. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Elizabeth Hoover O'Shea, in 1963. Surviving are one son, Daniel E. of Greensburg; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Louise) McClarran of Latrobe RD 2; two sisters, Mrs. James (Jesse) Fisher of Bedford and Mrs. Louise Leach of California; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. David Biondi officiating. Interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
