Communication. Died, on Sunday last, James Parr, Esq. late of Derry township in this county - In death of this gentleman society has lost one of its best members. He had long held the office of justice of the peace, in which his sound judgment, his strict integrity, the sweetness of his natural disposition, and his love of peace, all combined to make him eminently useful. - But in the more endearing relations of domestic life, his friends delight to contemplate his character. As a father, a friends, a humble and faithful disciple of christianity, he has left an examply worthy of the imitation of all - For about the last eigheen months, the deceased laboured under a severe stroke of the palsy which not only greatly affected his bodily powers but also deeply impaired the faculties of his mind. But his heavenly father has removed him form his severe afflictions; and he now reaps the gracious rewards, through a merciful redeemer, of a well spent life. His remains were, on Tuesday, attended to the grave by a great number of relatives and friends, to whom his memory will long be endeared.
