Stephen J. Peipock Sr., 75, of North Fairfield Street, Ligonier, died Saturday,
Feb. 12, 1983, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in Baggaley, July 28, 1907,
a son of the late Michael and Anna M. Cokota Peipock. A retired coal miner, he
was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ligonier, a church usher, and a
member of Ligonier Township Sportsmen's Club and the United Mine Workers Local
7951. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Manzulich Peipock; five sons,
Michael S. and Stephen J. Jr., both of Ligonier, John C. of Rhode Island, Robert
A. of New Florence and Timothy M. of Ligonier R D 2; two brothers, Joseph Pyrock
of McChesneytown and Andrew Peipock of Baggaley; six sisters, Mary Rozinsky of
Wyano, Betty Brosnick of Latrobe RD 4, Anna Murphy of Blairsville, Sophie Arnold
and Helen Petraglia, both of Pittsburgh, and Susan Povlocak of Whitney; eight
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in McCabe Funeral Home, 244 W. Main St., Ligonier. Mass
of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, Ligonier. Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
