Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Dec 09, 1952 
Elmer E. Piper, 82, Latrobe RD 4, died suddenly at his home 4:55 pm. yesterday.
He was a retired farmer and lumberman. The following children survive: Mrs.
Goldie Selesky, Youngstown; Miss Carrie Piper, Latrobe; Minerva Piper, Mrs.
Muriel Daniel and Ober, all of Latrobe RD 4. Also surviving are 18
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five brothers: Samuel, Adam, William
and Wilson, all Latrobe R. D. 4, and Eugene, Star Route Ligonier. Friends will
be received at late home after 5 p m today.
Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Dec 10, 1952 
Elmer E. Piper, 82 years, 4 months and 22 days of age, of R. D. 4. Latrobe, died
suddenly at his home 4:55 Monday evening. Friends will be received at his late
home after 5:00 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m.
Thursday at the Bethel Lutheran Church in charge of Rev. C. W. Somerville
assisted by Rev. Orville Trump and Rev. E. Stuart Proper. Interment will be in
Bethel cemetery. Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Stahlstown, in charge.
