Poche, 50, of Mount Pleasant RD 1 (Weltytown), died Monday, July 25, 1983, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 31, 1933, in Whitney, he was a son of Edward F. and Mable Shirey Poche of Mount Pleasant RD 1. An employee of Latrobe Steel, he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 'Trauger, and the Little Sewickley Sportsmen's Association. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Donna Smith Poche; three sons, Carl E. of Latrobe, Bernard L. of Mount Pleasant, and Edward F. at home; three daughters, Mrs. James (Barbara) Hirak of Greensburg, Mrs. Terry (Kimberly) Davis of Warner Robins, Ga., and Donna Jean Poche at home: one brother, Richard E. Poche of Hutchinson; four sisters, Mrs. Jay (Mary) Dunn and Mrs. Dean (Anna Katheryn) Reese, both of Mount Pleasant RD 1, Mrs. Mike (Sally) Mott of Greensburg RD 5, and Mrs. Michael (Paulette) Zarnik of Copperas Cove, Texas, and three grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles H. Frederickson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger.
