Mrs. Anna Marie Weaver Poole, 87, formerly of Greensburg RD 5, died Friday, Jan.
4, 1985, in Oak Hill Home of Rest and Care, Greensburg RD 7. Born Aug. 19, 1897,
in Unity Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Minnie Shotts
Weaver. She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church,
Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Ceward C. Poole, in 1961; one son, Edwin R., in 1976, and one sister,
Urcie Poole. Surviving are three sons, Charles F. of Greensburg, James C. of
Greensburg RD 2 and Russell W. of Greensburg RD 5; 17 grandchildren, and 25
great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Service
will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry W. Hunter
officiating. Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
