  Pounds - On the 2nd of October 1881, near Livermore, Westmoreland county, 
  Joseph Pounds, aged 85 years, 10 months, and 11 days.  The remains were 
  interred in Salem cemetery on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock.  
     Grandfather: - 'Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a stock 
  of corn cometh in his season.'  Few are permitted to remain on earth so long, 
  and, we dare say, few have made such a long and consistent Christian career.  
  A cherished father, a loved grandfather, one whose advice and help has done 
  much in making us what we are, thy loss on earth has been a gain in Heaven."
