Joseph Philip Pundai, 73, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and formerly of Findlay,
Ohio and Latrobe, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 16, 2022 after a long
battle with cancer, and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol, whom he met
at Findlay College. Born in Washington, D. C., he was predeceased by his
parents, Joseph and Ella Pundai, and sisters, Virginia Murphy and Alverta
Robinson, and nephew, Larry Murphy. He is survived by his nieces, Ginger Murphy,
Diane Murphy, Janet Battistella-Watkins, nephews, James Caddy and Edwin
Battistella, brother-in-law, Neal Caddy, and cherished Brothers of Alpha Sigma
Phi, cousins and friends. He graduated from Findlay College and Bowling Green
State University. Joe was given the gift of a wonderful family and friends and
humor and enjoyed birding and camping trips throughout the U. S. including four
to Alaska. Consistent with his wishes, there will be no memorial service and he
will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in his
memory to a humane society or pet rescue group of your choice. Please sign
