Mrs. Hilde E. Bind Puskar, 67, of Hostetter, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 1995, at
home. She was born July 8, 1928, in Wiesbaden-Rambach, Germany, a daughter of
the late Paul and Emilie (Lautz) Bind. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic
Church in Whitney and the Ladies' Auxiliary to VFW Post 8643 of Pleasant Unity.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hermann
and Edwin Bind. She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Puskar; two daughters,
Mrs. John (Linda) Yasurek of Pleasant Unity and Mrs. Tyrone (Juanita) Davis of
Derry; three sons, Michael of Latrobe, Eugene, at home, and Eric Puskar of
Lebanon, and six grandchildren, Angela Puskar; Jessica, Christina and Jonathan
Yasurek, and Leah and Emily Davis. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Gaut-Bacha Funeral Home Inc.,
Pleasant Unity. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the
funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Catholic
Church, Whitney, with the Rev. Mark M. Peters, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will
follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. Members of the parish will recite the
rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Family requests memorial
contributions to American Cancer Society, 152 E. Otterman St., Greensburg, PA
15601.
