  H. Porter Reed Jr.
  H. Porter Reed Jr., 52, of Greensburg R.D. 8 died Thursday in Latrobe Area 
  Hospital.
  He was born March 30, 1926, in Latrobe, son of Harry P. and Clara Fehrmann 
  Reed of Ligonier.
  He was the owner of the Noel an Reed Management Consulting Firm of Greensburg 
  and was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of West Newton.
  He also was a member of the Greensburg Kiwanis Club, the National Rifle 
  Association, the Latrobe Recreational Pistol Team and the Ohio and 
  Pennsylvania Gun Collectors associations.
  He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
  Surviving in addition to his parents, are his widow, one daughter, at home, 
  and two sons, both at home, and one brother, Richard F. of Ligonier.
  Friends will be received in Robert J. Kepple Funeral Home, 524 North Main St., 
  Greensburg, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m Saturday and Sunday.
  Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John 
  F. Brug officiating.
  Interment will follow in the St Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. Terence L. Graff 
  is in charge.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Faith
