Anna M. Beason Reed, 87, of Derry died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Loyalhanna Care
Center, Derry Township. She was born April 23, 1917, in Brenizer, a daughter of
the late Joseph and Virginia (Najha) Beason. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Reed, in 1986; a son, Charles Reed;
a brother, John Beason, and two sisters, Virginia Falk and Mary Skoloda. Anna is
survived by two sons, James Reed and wife, Laura, of Mount Pleasant and Joseph
Reed of Idaho; her daughter, Anna Catherine Yesho and husband, Francis, of
Seger; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Joseph Beason and
wife, Jean, of Derry; three sisters, Rose Genaro, of Derry, Carolyn Paola and
Irene Lloyd and husband Gilbert, all of Latrobe, and numerous nieces and
nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated 10:30 Monday in St. Joseph Roman Catholic
Church, Derry, with the Rev. Stephen C West as celebrant. Interment followed in
St. Joseph Cemetery, Derry.
