Mrs. Mary Storkel Regalla, 81, of Latrobe RD 1 (Lycippus), died Thursday, May
31, 1990, in Frick Community Health Center. She was born March 18, 1909, in
United, a daughter of the late John and Eva Rebovich Storkel. She was a member
of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church of Trauger, the Rosary Society and the
First Catholic Slovak Union. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Michael, in 1988; a daughter, Mary Chiaramonte, in 1982, and two
brothers, Michael and Steven Storkel. Surviving are four sons, John J. and
Joseph N., both of Latrobe R D 1, Michael A. Jr. of Tornado, W. Va., and Andrew
A. of Greensburg; a daughter, Mrs. William (Eva Ann) Grzwinski of Scottdale; a
brother, John Storkel of Greensburg; 16 grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the James P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant
Unity. Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Panachida Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed
by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev.
Edward C. Pyo Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Mount
Pleasant Township.
