Ribblet, 69, of Chestnut Ridge Road, Latrobe, (Derry Township) died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1993, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Bolivar, a son of the late Grover and Olive (Hofeekn) Ribblet. He was a retired employee of Standard Steel. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Derry, and a charter member of Kingston Veteran's and Sportsman's Association and Miller Run Conservation Society. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Luther, Lawrence, Albert, George and Cloyd, and a sister, Martha Brant. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lucy Moore Ribblet; two sons, Harry E. Jr. and Clarence William "Bill", both of Latrobe; a brother, Clarence "Bill" of Latrobe; four sisters: Frances Swank of Terre Haute, Ind., Mary Garland of Robinson, Minnie Knupp of Ligonier and Dorothy Hunt of Darlington; four grandchildren, Harry E. III, James, Pamela and Clarence Ribblet Jr., and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Michael J. Quinlisk Funeral Home, 548 N. Chestnut St., Derry, where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. A. Michael Boggs officiating.
