Ex-School Director Succumbs 
A former Derry Borough school director died at Latrobe Hospital at 9:50 p.m.
yesterday. He was Russell K. Richardson, 81, of 326 N. Ligonier St., Derry. He
served on the board of education for Derry Borough Schools for two terms,
serving as president during his final term. The deceased retired from the
Pennsylvania Railroad as a locomotive engineer in 1953 after 52 years of
service. Born in Derry on Aug. 11, 1886, he was a member of Derry Presbyterian
Church and the Brotherhood of Firemen and Engineers. He was the son of the late
George and Addie Kinter Richardson. 
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Bertha Forsha Richardson; two sons, Marion of
Valencia and Vaughn of Derry; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

RICHARDSON, RUSSELL K., 81, 326 N. Ligonier St., Derry, died in Latrobe Hospital
at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the Fisher Funeral Home; 10 a.m. to
10 p.m. daily. Funeral service Saturday 2 p.m., the Rev. C. P. Dalton
officiating. Entombment in the mausoleum in Coles Center. Fisher Funeral
