Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Apr 09, 1938 
The dead body of Peter Ridilla, aged 75 years, was found lying in the stable
near his home in Ridillatown, near Baggaley, at 6:30 o'clock, this morning. The
discovery was made by his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Semanchik. Mr. Ridilla had lived
at Ridillatown for the past fifty years. He was a coke drawer all his life until
his retirement twelve years ago under the pension rules of the Frick Company. He
last worked at the Hostetter plant. Mr. Ridilla celebrated his 75th y last
February. He is survived by the following children: Peter, Jr., Mrs. John Torba
and John, all of Ridillatown; J. W. Ridilla, of Latrobe; Miss Mary Ridilla, at
home; Mrs. George Daniels, of Midland, and Mrs. Andrew Semanchik, of
Ridillatown. Three brothers, John, of Latrobe, Andrew of Fairfield Township and
Steve, of Czechoslovakia, also survive; as does one sister, Mrs. Mary Legnansky,
of Czechoslovakia. Forty eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also
survive. His wife died a year ago. Funeral services will be held in St. Mary's
Greek Catholic church Snydertown at 9 o’clock Monday morning and interment will
be made in St. Vincent cemetery.
