Emma Jo Robb, 81, of Latrobe died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, in Edgewood Nursing
Center, Unity Township. Born Sept. 16, 1923, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of
the late Milton and Eliza Jane (Kuhns) Ross. She was a member of Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe. She retired from Carborundum with 40 years
of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Robert L. "Babe" Robb; a brother, Charles William Ross, and a sister,
Gwendalyn R. Vogle. Surviving are a brother, Arthur B. Ross and wife, Lois, of
Latrobe; two sisters, Jane Townsend of Lawson Heights (wife of the late Jack
Townsend) and Mary Lou Bittner and husband, Howard, of Latrobe; a special niece,
Michelle, who was her companion during her long illness, and other nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received 3
to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon
St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity
Township. The family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Greater
Pittsburgh, 3520 Route 130, Irwin, PA 15642, or Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church, 331 Weldon St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
