The Ligonier Echo Wed, Jan 12, 1910 
B. R. Robb, formerly of Ligonier township, but who with Mrs. Robb has been
living at Blackstone, Va., since October, 1908, on account of his delicate
health, died Monday morning, Jan. 10, 1910, at 9 o'clock, after a continued
illness of about three years of a complication of diseases, aged 69 years and 28
days. The remains are being brought to Ligonier accompanied by his widow, son,
R. L. Robb, and his daughter, Mrs. Blanch Houston. They will arrive at Ligonier
on 10 o'clock a. m. train today (Wednesday) and the funeral services held at
once in St. James Lutheran church of which he was a member and an officer for
many years. The services will be conducted by Rev. C. A. Naumann, pastor of the
church, assisted by Rev. R. L. Smith, D. D., pastor of the Ligonier Presbyterian
church. Also his former pastor, Rev. H. L. McMurray, will assist in the
services. The interment will be made in the Valley cemetery near town. Mr. Robb
was a son of the late Robert Robb, of Ligonier township, and is survived by his
wife and the following children: R. L. Robb, and Mrs. Blanch Houston, of
Blackstone, Va., and Chas. M. Robb, of Ligonier township, and by five
grandchildren. He is also survived by the following brothers: John T. Robb, of
Ligonier; W. H. Robb and F. S. Robb, of Ligonier township, and James Robb, of
Canon City, Colo. Mr. Robb and his brother, Wm. H. Robb, owned the old Robb
homestead where he devoted his life to the pursuit of farming. He was a well-to-
do and highly respected citizen and a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
