John M. (JD) Rohaly, 60, of Latrobe R. D. 3 (Marguerite) died Saturday in
Veterans Administration Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Dec. 13, 1917 in
Marguerite, a son of the late Stephen and Mary Barna Rohaly. He was a member of
St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Marguerite, the church's Holy Name Society,
the Marguerite Volunteer Fire Department and VFW Post 8643, Pleasant Unity. He
was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth Palinkas
Rohaly; one son, John Allen of Greensburg; two brothers, Joseph J. of Franklin
and Andrew L. of Latrobe R. D. 3, and three sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Elizabeth) Guzy
of Uniontown, Mrs. Andrew (Ann) Baker of Latrobe R. D. 5 and Mrs. William
( Helen) Estok of Greensburg. Friends were received in James P. Gaut Funeral
Home, Pleasant Unity. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday in St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Marguerite, with the Rev.
Columban Bomkamp, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment followed in St. Vincent
Cemetery.
