Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 29 May 1976
Fred E. Ross, 80, died at his residence in Buffalo, N. Y., Thursday. He was born in
Latrobe in January, 1896. He was a graduate of Latrobe High School and Carnegie Tech
(now Carnegie-Mellon University), in Pittsburgh. He was associated for a number of
years with the Ross Motor Co. on Depot and Weldon streets in Latrobe. In his later
years, he was employed by the Ford Motor Co. in Detroit, Michigan. Surviving are his
widow, Gertrude Lofstrom Ross; three sons, seven grandchildren, and a brother, Edwin
A. Ross of Latrobe. He was preceded in death by another brother, E. Willis Ross, of
Boca Raton, Fla. Following church services in Buffalo, there will be a viewing at
Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum, Irwin, where interment be made at 3:00 pm Tuesday,
June 1.
