The Somerset herald. (Somerset, Pa.): June 29, 1892
Mrs. Henry Sadler, of Webster, Westmoreland county, was fatally burned Tuesday while
trying to start her kitchen fire by the use of carbon oil. The can exploded,
throwing the burning fluid over the unfortunate woman. She was burned so badly that
the flesh dropped from her body. The home also took fire, and, together with it
contents, was destroyed, entailing a loss of $1,700.
