Born Sept. 27, 1904, in Unity Township, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Caroline Metzger Piper. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Lawson Heights. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Piper. Surviving are her husband, Leo H. Selesky, three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Evelyn) Gardner of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Lester (Violet) Mcllnay of Youngstown, Mrs. George (Betty) Onusko of Hostetter, two sons, Leo E. of Latrobe, Frank D. of Greensburg, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel and Ober, both of Latrobe RD 4, three sisters, Miss Carrie Piper of Youngstown, Mrs. Albert (Minerva) Piper and Mrs. Raymond (Muriel) Potter, both of Latrobe RD 4. Friends will be received at the James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to S and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. William E. Ordelt officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
