Selesky, 93, of Latrobe RD 1, died Thursday, March 21, 1996, in Loyalhanna Care Center near Latrobe. He was born Dec 17, 1904 in Carnegie, a son of the late John and Anna (Gesici) Selesky. He retired after working at coal mines in Jamison and Hostetter and had been a member of the United Mine Workers of America and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Youngstown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald; two brothers, Stanley and Leo, and two sisters, Stefa and Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Louise M. Wilk Selesky; three daughters, Mrs. William (Eileen) Markle of Singer Isle, Fla., Mrs. Thomas (Betty Lou) Homer of Latrobe RD 1 and Wanda Campbell of Latrobe; a son, Kenneth W. of Pleasant Unity; 12 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Jessie) Lundquist, Mrs. George (Helen) Johns, both of Latrobe RD 4, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Gaut-Bacha Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Judith Bahrs Boggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Lycippus Community Cemetery, Unity Township.
