Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Aug 13, 1912
Following a lingering illness, Mrs. Jennie Serena, the wife of Alex Serena, of
Derry township, passed away, at 9:20 o'clock last evening, at her home. Her
death was not unexpected, her condition having been critical for some time past.
Mrs. Serena was in her 71st year. She was a sister of the late John Nicholls. of
Derry township. A husband is left to mourn her, loss, together with a number of
distant relatives, who held her in high esteem. The funeral services sill be
held at the residence at 1:00 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. W, B. Carr
being in charge. The interment will be made in the Nicholl’s lot, in Unity
cemetery.
