The Ligonier Echo Wed Apr 11, 1900
Harry Shaffer, aged about 17 years, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Shaffer, of east
Main street, died last Friday night, April 6, 1900, of spinal meningitis.
Funeral took place Monday of this week. A short service was held at the home
Monday morning at 7:30 conducted by Rev. D. L. Yoder. Sermon preached in
Jennertown Lutheran Church, Somerset county, by Rev. H. L. McMurray. Interment
at cemetery at Jennertown.
