The Ligonier Echo Wed, Jul 23, 1890
On July 8th, 1890, at the residence of David Horner, near Laughlintown, Lettie
Shaffer, aged 82 years, 5 months and 26 days. Her death was causer by a
complication of diseases. She was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church
For many years, always regular in attendance at church and a great student of
the Bible. Her remains were interred in the old Presbyterian graveyard at
Ligonier on July 9th, 1890. Funeral services conducted by Rev. C. H. Miller of
Ligonier.
