Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Dec 13, 1935
Mrs. Rachel Alice Sham, aged 72 years, 10 months and 6 days, died very suddenly
at her home, at 1501 Jefferson St. yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock. She is
survived by her husband, James Sham, and by one son,  Joseph Sham, of
Pittsburgh. Two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Ackerman, of Latrobe, and Mrs. Martha
Lovra, of Youngstown, Ohio, also survive. Funeral services will be held from her
late residence, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. W. A. Sites in
charge. Interment will be made in the Youngstown Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Sham
had been a member of Olive Grove No. 1, Woodmen Circle for more than 25 years
and the society will conduct its requiem service Saturday evening at 7:30
o’clock at the Sham home.
