Latrobe Advance  Wed, Mar 30, 1887
On Saturday evening, Wm. Shanefelt, at Bradenville, died at his father's
residence at that place. Young Shanefelt was a baker by trade and had been
employed at Greensburg for some time past and had been lately suffering from a
swollen knee. Symptoms of blood poisoning had set in and an amputation became
necessary which was performed on Saturday night. Interment took place on Monday
afternoon.
