Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 6 Jan 1969
A former school teacher in Unity township for more than 20 years, Albert E. Shawley
of Youngstown, died at his home yesterday afternoon. He was 71 years of age and was
born in Unity Twp., April 5, 1897. He was a member of St. James Lutheran church in
Youngstown and the Loyalhanna Lodge 275 of the F&AM. Surviving are four children,
Dr. Dean A. Shawley, and Nevin Shawley, Youngstown; Mrs. Theda Frable, Pasadena,
Calif., Mrs. Ervin (Ina) Wolff of Latrobe RD 5; 10 grandchildren, 4
great-grandchildren; brother John Shawley, of Latrobe RD 1. Services will be
conducted at 2 pm Wednesday in St. James Lutheran Church, Rev. Russell Reithmiller
officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
