Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania)  18 Sep 1948
Mrs. Rebecca Lavina Shawley, aged 77 years, 8 months and 13 days, died at her home
near Youngstown at 5 am today. She was a member of St. James Lutheran church of
Youngstown. Two sons: Albert Shawley, of Youngstown and John H. Shawley, of Latrobe
RD 1 and one brother James Weatherton, of Green Springs, O.; survive as do five
grandchildren. Friends will be received at her late home where funeral services will
be held Monday at 2:30 pm in charge of the Rev. Robert Johns, her pastor. Interment
will be in the St. James Lutheran cemetery, Youngstown.
