Imogene (Imy) A. Shawley, 80, of Cape Coral, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at her
home. She was born May 20, 1917 in Bradenville, Pa., the eldest daughter of Edwin
and Lulu Mann. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Latrobe Chapter
#221, for many years. She and her husband of 50 years, Dean, moved from Youngstown,
Pa. to Cape Coral in 1973. She was preceded in death by her husband in September
1996, and by a sister, Prudence Snyder, of Latrobe, Pa.
Survivors include one daughter and one son. All are residents of Cape Coral. Also
surviving are Imy's sisters and a cousin and numerous nieces and nephews. A private
memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Imy's memory to Hope Hospice.
