Ira William "Bill" Shawley, 76, of Stahlstown, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015,
in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. He was born Sept. 6, 1939, in Cook Township,
Westmoreland County, a son of the late Benjamin and Edna Mae Coleman Shawley. He is
survived by his daughter-in-law of Stahlstown; his granddaughter and husband, of
Rockwood; his great-grandchildren; and two sisters of Stahlstown. In addition to his
parents, Bill was predeceased by his wife, Janet M. Bittner Shawley, on Aug. 26,
2001; a son, Roger Wayne Shawley; a sister, Sarah Miller; and two brothers, Leo and
Leon Shawley. As per Bill's request there will be no public viewing or services.
Interment will be in the Snowball Cemetery.
