Mrs. Daisy R. Shawley, 71, of Jones Mills died in Somerset Community Hospital
Sunday afternoon. She was born July 14, 1902, in Donegal Twp., the daughter of
the late John H and Mary Shawley Kunkle. Surviving are her husband, Charles S.
Shawley; sister, Mrs. Ralph Dixon of Jones Mills, and brothers, Harry, of
Champion and Elmer, of Salt lake City, Utah. Friends will be received at the L.
Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Stahlstown, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, after 7 p.m.
Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday
with the Rev. Dan Schultheis officiating. Interment will be made in the Snowball
Cemetery.
