Mrs. Anna Bertha Shearer, aged 68, died about 4 am today at the Latrobe
Hospital, where she had been employed tor a number of years as a cook in the
Nurses' Home.  Born on April 4, 1879, she was the widow of the late Frank
Shearer, who preceded her in death four yearn ago. Surviving are the following
children: George H. Shearer, of Huntingdon Beach, Calif.; Edward-C. Shearer.
Latrobe RD 1; Oliver F. Shearer. Latrobe RD 2, and Mrs. Mary Alice Ferry,
Latrobe RD 4. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, a sister and two brothers.
Friends will be received daily until 10 pm at Gosnell's Funeral Horne. Funeral
services will be conducted there at( 2 pm Wednesday and interment will follow in
the new Youngstown Cemetery.
