Mrs. Edna Mae Shearer, 2513 Ligonier St., died at her home at 1:45 am today
after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, William H. Shearer;
four sons, Harry E., Ligonier, Robert A., Pittsburgh, William Henry and Charles
David, both of Latrobe: brothers: Dr. David E. Strickler, Latrobe, Herbert D
Strickler, Ohio and Charles H. Strickler, Latrobe; two sisters: Blanche Wagner,
Latrobe, and Mrs. Mary Henry, Cincinnati, O.; and six grandchildren. A fourth
brother, Samuel S. Strickler, is deceased. Friends will be received after 7 pm
Friday at the Reed Funeral Home, Latrobe, where funeral services will be
conducted at 1 p. m. Monday with Rev. Paul J. Halstead officiating. Interment
will follow in Unity Cemetery.
